Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in a Junior or Intermediate role. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for adjusting claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust claims in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted to clients.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including marketing and follow-up of potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve claims adjusting processes and business development strategies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the Adjuster's BC license Level 1 prior to employment.
  • University degree or post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cause-and-effect dynamics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proactive and positive approach to customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and building long-term relationships.
