Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Products Fabricator to join our team at Pather Plastics Canada Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling plastic products using various machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Machines and Equipment: Safely operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to cut, shape, and assemble plastic materials.
  • Assemble Composite Materials: Assemble composite materials on patterns to form parts and assemblies.
  • Inspect Products: Inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Make Adjustments and Repairs: Make minor adjustments or repairs to products as needed.
  • Measure and Weigh Products: Measure or weigh products to ensure accuracy and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar field is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Environment: The work environment is noisy and dusty.
  • Work Setting: The work setting is in a plastics manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is preferred.
  • Welding Techniques: Knowledge of laser welding techniques is preferred.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with saws, hand tools, and drill presses is preferred.
  • Area of Specialization: Experience in finishing, assembly, and inspection is preferred.
