At Borgata Event Centre by Avani, we are seeking a skilled Dishroom Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment in the dishroom area. Your duties will include operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, as well as sanitizing and washing items by hand. You will also be responsible for scouring pots and pans, and placing dishes in storage areas. If you have a strong work ethic and are able to work independently, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Clean and sanitize the dishroom area, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units
* Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
* Sanitize and wash items by hand
* Scour pots and pans
* Place dishes in storage areas

**Requirements:**

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
