Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Brampton Civic Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents, ensuring the safety and security of staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular security patrols of the hospital premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including emergency situations, and provide support to staff and patients as needed.
  • Reporting and Investigation: Write detailed reports of security incidents and conduct investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hospital staff, including security personnel, to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Requirements
  • Security Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a security or related role.
  • Security License: Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • First Aid/CPR: WSIB Approved First Aid/CPR Level C.
  • Language: Proficient in English (both oral and written).
  • Qualifications: Vulnerable Sector Check, COVID Double Vaccination, Immunization Record (MMR – Measles Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, TB).
