About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our team at Everclean Facility Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Schedules: Plan and coordinate cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned regularly and to a high standard.
  • Inspect and Monitor Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any areas that require attention and ensure that cleaning standards are being met.
  • Manage Budgets and Resources: Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of the facility.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to improve the cleaning and maintenance of the facility and recommend additional services such as painting, repairs, or renovations as needed.
  • Assist with Specialized Cleaning Jobs: Assist with specialized cleaning jobs such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning, or event cleaning as required.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that cleaning schedules and activities are coordinated effectively.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a cleaning or maintenance role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week

  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cleaning staff, other departments, and management.
  • Reliability: A high level of reliability and attention to detail to ensure that cleaning schedules and activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
