About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SJK Food Ltd. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This will include developing and maintaining work schedules, training staff, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. This will include training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.

Maintain Records and Reports

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage. This will include preparing and submitting reports to management on a regular basis.

Address Customer Complaints

The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Skills

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality.
