About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Gilas Health Care Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with Mobility: Help patients move around, transfer, and position themselves in bed or wheelchair.
  • Administer Medication: Assist with administering medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain Patient Records: Accurately document patient information, including vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
  • Support Patients with Daily Activities: Assist patients with eating, drinking, and other daily activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
