Overview:
Ignite Technical Resources is seeking a skilled Accounting & Finance Professional to support our client's Corporate Accounting & Tax division on a contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Management of vendor invoice processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Reconciliation of cash, payables, and payroll accounts.
- Preparation of data and schedules for financial reporting.
- Contribution to the formulation of accounting policies.
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of corporate accounting protocols.

Tax Function Duties:
The successful candidate will assist with tax filing requests, including report generation, tax payment confirmations, and liaising with tax authorities to address filing discrepancies. Additionally, administrative support will be provided to the tax team as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounts payable.
- Strong accounting acumen and proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and applicable accounting standards.
- Experience with MS Dynamics NAV accounting software.
- Knowledge of corporate income tax and indirect tax filings.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time contract position with a likelihood of extension or transition to a permanent role. The work setting is business casual, with standard Monday-to-Friday hours primarily conducted onsite.
