About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Johnyan Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, such as soups, salads, and sandwiches.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 36 to 40 hours per week.
