Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Stock Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of stock accuracy and ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stockroom Operations: Receive and process incoming stock, including counting, weighing, and sorting items.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Shelving and Display: Stock shelves and display areas, ensuring that products are properly displayed and easily accessible to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues related to product availability and stock levels.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a retail or stockroom environment is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
