We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Arts Educator to join our team at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools. As a High School English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum that aligns with Catholic Education standards
  • Provide guidance and support to students in developing their critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in English Language Arts education

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in English Language Arts or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification in Alberta, Canada
  • Experience in teaching English Language Arts in a secondary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certification in Catholic Education
  • Experience in teaching in a Catholic school setting
