Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Wayne Hughes. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist with medication administration and management
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Assist with transportation and errands
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including private homes and community centers. You will be required to travel to clients' homes and may be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
