We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at True Artist Painters Inc. As a Painter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and performing routine maintenance work.
Responsibilities:- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Perform routine maintenance work
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
- Criminal record check
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Flexibility, reliability, and team player skills
- Experience an asset
- Green job: involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes
This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
