Role Overview

The S&OP Technology Product Manager is responsible for establishing the vision, execution, and operational management of all S&OP technology solutions within Haleon, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing product value throughout its lifecycle.

This position is integral to the Quality & Supply Chain Technology team and reports to the E2E Planning Director.

  • Lead the strategy, delivery, and operational oversight of Integrated Business Planning solutions across the supply chain, focusing on scenario analysis, S&OP processes, and accurate volume and value reconciliation throughout the E2E planning framework.
  • Create a roadmap for product enhancements to achieve business targets in Integrated Business Planning.
  • Assume full responsibility for the successful execution of all projects and experiments within the product domain.
  • Conduct collaborative sessions with stakeholders to design product experiments grounded in strong hypotheses and measurable performance metrics.
  • At the Business Unit Level: Success will be gauged by maximizing business value while ensuring that Integrated Business Planning applications function at an optimal cost-risk balance.
  • Contribute to Product & Data architecture, ensuring alignment across Haleon’s technology organization regarding platform standards, cybersecurity, strategic partnerships, and delivery models. Lead governance bodies to approve experiments and product enhancement initiatives.
  • Implement and provide global support for all Integrated Business Planning solutions, ensuring comprehensive user training, defined service levels, and governance models in accordance with Haleon’s service support framework.
  • Monitor the overall performance of Integrated Business Planning applications, managing associated risks and value throughout their lifecycle.
  • Review and communicate application performance with stakeholders, ensuring an effective communication and performance improvement strategy is in place.
  • Provide leadership and development opportunities for direct reports in alignment with Haleon’s technology and Agile methodologies, leading cross-functional teams as necessary.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of complex strategic technology solutions, evaluating the implications of deploying these solutions within Haleon’s ecosystem and ensuring efficient management throughout their lifecycle.
  • Quickly grasp business processes and their correlation to Integrated Business Planning applications.
  • Initiate and foster collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and feedback to ensure alignment between business and technology.
  • Maintain a solid technological foundation to ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, health and safety, and technology policies while meeting application standards.
  • Influence and build credibility with a diverse range of stakeholders, including external suppliers, who may be hesitant to adopt new technology solutions.
  • Articulate technology challenges in business terms, demonstrating strong business acumen and taking ownership of issues until resolution.
  • Cultivate and sustain effective relationships with external service providers as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the broader Haleon Technology organization.
  • Exhibit strong influencing, communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
  • Display strong prioritization abilities and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities.
  • Utilize emotional intelligence to adapt to various business contexts.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Expertise in implementing advanced planning solutions (e.g., o9, Kinaxis, SAP IBP) to support the S&OP process.
  • Mastery in managing the performance of planning applications throughout their lifecycle.
  • APICS or equivalent supply chain certification.
