About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at Elegant Apparel. As a Bookkeeping Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Financial Management: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as administer benefits and other employee-related programs.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Language and Work Hours

The language of work is English, and the work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
