About the Role

Certified Building Systems is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, cutting and fitting them to meet precise specifications, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Measurement: Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements.
  • Joint Compound Application: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Corner Bead Installation: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Insulation and Barrier Installation: Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in cold or hot temperatures, and in dusty conditions. You must be able to work outdoors and be comfortable with noise.
