Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a Senior Technician - Security, you will play a critical role in reviewing, understanding, analyzing, and implementing installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
  • Pre-wire, install, program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems.
  • Prepare and execute Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client, and future service needs.
  • Assist in system design and layout.
  • Provide customer training for proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries.
  • Build relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities.
  • Perform administrative duties, including project updates to Project Managers and completing and filing all project documentation.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Vendor Certification in low-voltage systems is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract.
  • Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
