Position Overview:

As a Senior Java Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of essential software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Lead Developer in the architecture and design of critical backend systems.
  • Develop and implement multilayered applications to meet business needs.
  • Mentor and guide team members while taking charge of technical decisions.
  • Establish authorization frameworks and ensure compliance with nonfunctional specifications.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in object-oriented analysis, Java programming, and Java EE technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of backend technologies including REST, JSON, and JPA.
  • Familiarity with various Application Servers.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
