Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Amax Leather Canada Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Train workers in duties and policies related to transportation and logistics.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality standards.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Document work completed and maintain accurate records.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
