We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team at Broadway Kitchen Cabinet Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and preparing wooden furniture and fixture parts.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand production requirements.
- Reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports to ensure stability.
- Install hardware on furniture and fixtures to complete the assembly process.
- Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
- Mark defective parts or products for repair and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in woodworking or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- A permanent position with 35-40 hours of work per week.
