Job Title: IT Analyst

Job Description:

Alteo Inc. is seeking an IT Analyst to join our team in Victoriaville. As an IT Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and implementing digital transformation plans, contributing to the revision and implementation of these plans, and participating in the implementation of government cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze business needs to develop a digital transformation plan
  2. Contribute to the revision and implementation of the digital transformation plan
  3. Participate in the implementation of government cybersecurity measures
  4. Recommend best practices to optimize IT infrastructure
  5. Evaluate administrative software and propose innovative solutions
  6. Advise staff on the use of IT solutions and collaborate in the development of technological training courses
  7. Review institutional policies and procedures
  8. Meet with internal clients, analyze their needs, and advise them on available technological solutions
  9. Perform preliminary and detailed analyses of requests and conceptualize business needs
  10. Identify forecast requirements to maintain capacity and smooth operation of IT services
  11. Participate in the development and implementation of IT project portfolios, including trials and proofs of concept
  12. Evaluate human, financial, material, and information resources required
  13. Monitor and improve existing services and implement new functionalities and services
  14. Draw up a work plan and monitor the execution of work in collaboration with stakeholders
  15. Design and develop documentation required to operate information resources

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
  2. Certificate in Cybersecurity (asset)
  3. 5-10 years' experience as an IT Analyst
  4. Experience and/or strong interest in the field of IT security
  5. IT generalist: good knowledge of infrastructures, web development, IT industry norms, and standards
  6. Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
  7. Excellent ability to write documentation and analysis reports in French
  8. Interpersonal skills, ability to establish good relations with internal customers at all levels of the organization
  9. Dynamic, pro-active, with a sense of ownership
  10. Team player with collaborative leadership
  11. Fluency in spoken and written French
