We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Harbour Light Motel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
- Room Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and complete various administrative tasks.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in word processing software and central reservation systems.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, and a team player attitude.
