Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a relevant field.
Work Environment

The role involves working in a video production setting, with opportunities for remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation and presentation of performances.
  • Organize film segments into coherent sequences to ensure continuity and achieve desired effects.
  • Manage production scheduling effectively.
  • Edit motion picture film in alignment with the director's vision.
  • Ensure that all details adhere to the project's original objectives.
  • Evaluate the project's success post-release.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the artistic elements of production.
  • Make decisions regarding lighting, camera angles, lenses, and backgrounds.
Production Experience

Candidate should have a minimum of 20 productions credited to their name, with a focus on:

  • Preproduction direction
  • Postproduction direction
Media Types

Experience in advertising, communications, and video production is essential.

Work Conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
