About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Designer to join our team at Jay-Smart Technologies Inc. as a key member of our digital media department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to gather and document website requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and goals.
  • Design Conceptualization: Develop and present mock-ups and storyboards to visualize website ideas and concepts.
  • Content Creation: Source, select, and organize information for inclusion, and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software to create and optimize content for the website.
  • Software Evaluation: Research and evaluate different interactive media software products to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure the website meets the highest standards.
  • Work Environment: Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a 35-hour workweek, and communicate effectively in English.
