Position Overview
Vantix Systems Inc is looking for a skilled Business Analyst (BA) with a strong background in large-scale SAP ERP project implementations, particularly in the Finance, Supply Chain, and Human Resources domains. This role will serve as a vital link between Information Technology (IT) and business operations during the ERP Transformation process.
The position allows for full remote work within Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, validate, document, and approve process flows and requirements through various methods including interviews, workshops, and business process modeling (5+ years).
- Collaborate closely with business clients to manage requirements, troubleshoot issues, and translate user needs into functional and non-functional specifications (5+ years).
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across various business areas and technical environments (5+ years).
- Develop and review test strategies, cases, and plans, and lead testing phases including System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (5+ years).
- Oversee defect management processes during testing phases using appropriate tools (5+ years).
- Create process maps, specifications, and diagrams to clarify business processes and guide development teams (5+ years).
- Engage in risk, issues, and change management practices (5+ years).
- Demonstrate experience with ERP implementations, preferably SAP solutions (3+ years).
- Possess a solid understanding of Finance, specifically in General Ledger and Fixed Asset Management (5+ years).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in planning and executing business analysis activities, including the approval process throughout projects (3+ years).
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document changes to support business readiness and process adjustments (3+ years).
- Define measurable criteria to evaluate the success of changes (3+ years).
- Develop a traceability matrix to ensure all requirements are met and aligned with business needs (3+ years).
- Make informed decisions on complex issues using resourcefulness and ingenuity (3+ years).
- Establish methods for documenting business requirements in collaboration with clients (3+ years).
- Develop user access and training documentation (3+ years).
- Analyze business requirements to define roles and data structures for operational needs (3+ years).
- Assist in the development and review of project deliverables across various domains (3+ years).
- Experience in Finance, Taxation, and Order to Cash areas (1+ year).
Work Environment
This is a contract position with a duration of 19.5 months, with the possibility of extension. The hourly rate is negotiable.
