Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Haul Truck Operator to join our team at Fort McKay Group of Companies LP. As a Haul Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to move, load, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment to transport materials across the site
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Keep the truck clean and well-maintained
  • Work shift rotations, including days and nights
  • Be dependable and reliable
  • Comply with all road regulations on site
  • Be alert to risks or threats to prevent losses
  • Report any damage to the equipment to the Team Leader
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • College or industry courses in heavy equipment operating are considered an asset
  • Valid class five (5) driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • Valid CSO or BSO or combination of CSTS and OSSA
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English
  • LPS training is considered an asset
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
