Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Woodstock Grocers. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about food preparation and presentation.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff.
