Van Zanten Floral Inc is seeking a reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Labourer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to assist in the production of high-quality flowers and plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized greenhouse environment, ensuring the health and well-being of our plants, and contributing to the overall success of our floriculture production.

Responsibilities
  • Cut and harvest horticultural crops
  • Perform greenhouse cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Weed and prune plants as needed
  • Plant bulbs and seeds in a controlled environment
  • Pot and re-pot plants to ensure optimal growth
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Clean and maintain the work area
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a focus on attention to detail. The greenhouse is located in a rural area, and the work site environment is outdoors with exposure to wet/damp and hot conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
