Senior Contract Administrator

Overview
As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth project execution by managing contractual obligations and facilitating effective communication between project teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with project management teams to develop and maintain comprehensive contract management plans tailored to each project's unique requirements.
- Proactively engage with operations staff to identify potential changes that may impact project scope, schedule, or budget.
- Prepare detailed documentation outlining anticipated and actual conditions resulting from identified changes, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Work in conjunction with planning experts to assess the impact of proposed changes on project schedules and timelines.
- Maintain meticulous records of all change requests, approvals, and implementation details within a centralized log.
- Draft client notifications adhering to contractual terms and conditions, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for proposed changes, identifying potential financial implications and operational challenges.
- Analyze cumulative impacts and project-wide repercussions of implemented changes, mitigating any unforeseen consequences.
- Collaborate with the project team to estimate costs associated with complex, multidisciplinary changes, providing accurate and comprehensive cost analyses.
- Gather supporting documentation for change justifications, including productivity reports, project photos, and relevant technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry OR 5-10 years of proven experience in contract administration within a construction environment.
- Exceptional communication skills in French; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive understanding of common construction equipment and materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with database management systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, enabling efficient prioritization and task completion.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing teams effectively.
