Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy in Merritt, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective drug therapy, contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement, and achieving departmental excellence in patient-focused care, customer service, and workflow efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and patient education.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient progress.
  • Administer vaccines and determine the appropriateness of drug therapy.
  • Monitor medication adherence and collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Recommend OTC products and vitamins, and answer questions from patients requiring therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment.
  • Supervise a pharmacy student or provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Licensed to administer medications by injection.
  • OAT certification.
