Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Laxmi Convenience and Grocery Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure seamless store operations and maximize sales potential.
  • Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, train, and develop new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Authorize Payments and Manage Inventory: Oversee the processing of payments, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
  • Organize and Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing to attract and retain customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook and other relevant software applications.
  • Transportation and Travel Information: Public transportation is available, and a valid driver's license is an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
