Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Marlow Properties (B.C.) Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, common areas, and public spaces. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture, making beds, and restocking linens.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests
  • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Mend clothing and linens to ensure a clean and tidy appearance
Requirements:
  • Experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Ability to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The ability to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks is essential. The working conditions are physically demanding and require attention to detail to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
