Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding patient and customer service aligned with Greenshield Holdings' core values.
- Administer intravenous therapies and monitor patients under physician supervision.
- Conduct intramuscular vaccinations and TB skin tests as prescribed.
- Take necessary actions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Follow best practices and safety protocols in the workplace.
- Report any adverse events as required.
- Adhere to nursing standards as established by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Commit to ongoing professional development and education.
- Minimum of one year of experience with IV administration; hospital nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with IV antibiotics and biologics is advantageous.
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an asset.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Possess a valid Ontario driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
- Demonstrate excellent patient assessment and educational skills.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role as outlined in the responsibilities.
