Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead our team in Edmonton. As a key member of our Civil team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing land development and municipal civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee project teams and coordinate with other departments as necessary to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage complex projects from conception to completion, requiring advanced technical knowledge and leadership skills.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, municipal and utility authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Plan, develop, and manage civil projects, including attending and leading internal and external project meetings.
- Engage with clients and authorities to obtain approvals for projects, and present technical material in innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences.
- Review deliverables for accuracy, and ensure all engineering work is carried out in accordance with industry standards, company procedures, and client expectations.
- Coordinate with multiple divisions to bring a multidiscipline and holistic approach to projects, and stay current with advancements in civil engineering technology and practices.
- Mentor, lead, and support the development and growth of new team members, and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and productive culture.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registration with APEGA as a Professional Engineer.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering projects, with a proven track record of developing and strengthening client relationships.
