Position Overview

As a Sales Associate at Tiberius Holdings Inc. o/a Great Canadian Dollar Store, you will play a vital role in our retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner while managing transactions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Will train; previous experience in retail is an asset.
Work Environment

This position is situated in a fast-paced retail setting, where you will be expected to handle various tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register and process payments, including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan merchandise and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Receive payments for goods and services, ensuring a smooth transaction process.
  • Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
Transportation and Travel

Having your own transportation is necessary for this role.

Physical Requirements

The job may involve:

  • Working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Maintaining attention to detail while working under pressure.
