Position Title: Material Handler II

Location: Ontario, CA

Shift: 8AM - 5PM
Compensation: $19.72/hr

Position Overview:

The Material Handler II plays a crucial role in ensuring that both work-in-progress and stocked items align with customer standards through meticulous handling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all items are properly cleaned, counted, packaged, and labeled according to client specifications.
  • Engage in the cleaning, counting, identifying, and packaging of components as per established guidelines.
  • Utilize computer systems as required for various tasks.
  • Participate in assigned duties and cross-training for multiple roles as necessary.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as bend, reach, and manage boxes throughout the workday.
  • Prior experience in a shipping role within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Interpret and execute work order specifications accurately.

Equipment Utilized:

  • Weigh scales, calculators, ink stamps, telephones, and computer/typewriter keyboards.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient in reading and adhering to instructions.
  • Strong time management skills, especially during peak periods.
  • Maintain consistent productivity levels.

Work Environment:

  • Dusty conditions.
  • Involves standing, walking, and sitting.
