Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitting Specialist to join our team at Capital Contracting Services. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment to excellence in plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install plumbing fixtures and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
  • Conduct repairs on plumbing fixtures and systems across various settings.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to establish plumbing system layouts, including water supply and waste management.
  • Identify and mark locations for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Prepare openings in walls and floors to accommodate piping and fittings.
  • Assemble pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding techniques.
  • Perform leak tests on pipes utilizing air and water pressure gauges.
  • Assess piping system requirements and determine appropriate pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to meet specified dimensions.
Qualifications
  • Certificates: Backflow prevention Certification, Plumber Trade Certification
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Transportation Requirements
  • Own transportation and vehicle
  • Vehicle may be supplied by employer
  • Valid driver's license required
