Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair diesel and gasoline generators, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and electrical system checks.
- Collaborate with our team to provide best-in-class service to customers, ensuring their generators are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our services.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel and gasoline engine maintenance and repair.
- Prior experience working on standby generators (residential and industrial; 10kW-4,000kW) is highly preferred.
- Availability for on-call and overtime hours as needed, especially during major power outages.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Accurate submission of service orders, repair quotes, and all generator data.
- Clean driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- EGSA and OSHA certifications (or ability to obtain each).
- Electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude, with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators.
