About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Rai Investment Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including driver logbooks and trip reports.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and gain experience in the role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
