Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Labourer to join our team at Sterling Kitchens & Bath Inc.

Job Summary:

The General Labourer will be responsible for performing various tasks in our furniture manufacturing facility, including checking and weighing materials and products, sorting, packing, and crating materials and products, and assisting machine operators and other workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products efficiently and safely
  • Assist machine operators and other workers as needed to meet production goals
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
