- Repair and Replace Defective Parts: Use hand, power, or specially designed tools to repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components.
- Diagnose and Locate Circuit Faults: Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults to ensure prompt and effective repairs.
- Test and Adjust Repaired Products: Test and adjust repaired products to ensure they are functioning properly and meet the required standards.
- Supervise and Train Technicians: Supervise and train other electronic equipment service technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Prepare Cost Estimates: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for repairs and maintenance work.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electronic equipment repair and maintenance.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The position requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
