About the Role

Meadow Berry Farms is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment

You will be responsible for detecting faults and malfunctions in our equipment, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.

Diagnose and Repair Faults

You will diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, and repair or replace defective parts as needed.

Test and Adjust Equipment

You will test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.

Clean and Maintain Equipment

You will clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work on our equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

Perform Repair Work on Heavy Trucks

You will perform repair work on our heavy trucks, including servicing attachments and working tools.

Verify and Repair Emission Control Systems

You will verify and repair emission control systems on our equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically Demanding

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will need to have a high level of attention to detail to ensure that repairs are accurate and of high quality.

This is a permanent full-time position.

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

You will work a standard 30-40 hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
