About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team at Homelife as a Family Caregiver. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including laundry, cleaning, and organization.
  • Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks, to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist clients with administrative tasks, such as managing medications, scheduling appointments, and keeping track of important documents.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
