Position Overview
Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Parts Planning Lead to oversee the strategic management of service parts within our organization. This role involves close collaboration with the Parts Planning Manager and requires a strong focus on developing and optimizing processes related to service parts management. The successful candidate will serve as the main liaison between the Parts Planning and Engineering departments, playing a crucial role in the Product Development Process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and guide a team of Parts Planners and Technical Writers to achieve all objectives set for the Parts Planning Team.
- Ensure completion of all Parts Planning tasks as outlined in the Product Development Process, including the formulation of service parts lists, stocking criteria, and initial inventory requirements for warehouses and dealers.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Parts Planning.
- Establish processes and criteria for assigning attributes to all service parts in Master Data systems.
- Collaborate with the Service department to manage parts related to Product Improvement Programs and Service Bulletins.
- Work closely with Engineering to ensure that design modifications align with parts strategies.
- Oversee the updating of part attribute data resulting from engineering changes.
- Supervise the creation and upkeep of Parts publications.
- Perform additional duties as required.
