Emergency Nurse

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency team in Squamish, BC. As a Registered Nurse in Emergency, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing emergency nursing care to clients of all ages
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices in emergency care
- Work effectively in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and patient needs
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing or two (2) years' recent, related experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of BCCNM's standards for nursing practice and ability to apply them in a clinical setting
