Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring timely delivery of cargo.
  • Operate lighter, special purpose trucks, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of service.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch, receiving and relaying critical information.
  • Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to work overtime, as required.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring stamina and endurance.
  • Judgement, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 45 hours of work per week.
