- Relay production updates from the floor to appropriate team members, providing customer open order updates and ensuring seamless communication.
- Support production directives, such as specialty projects and activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Focus on cost-effectiveness, process improvements, and strategic process improvements, ensuring that our operations are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide motivation for employees, increasing morale and engagement, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Hand-on execution of objectives and training of employees, demonstrating best practices and ensuring that all employees have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory, management, or leadership role, with 1 to 5 years of progressive experience in sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes.
- CWB welding certification W47.1, W47.2 (preferred).
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- First Aid skills and/or certificates (considered assets).
- Direct working knowledge of processes and machinery used in metal fabrication.
