Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled GKE Engineer/Lead to join our dynamic team at N2S. This role involves a hybrid work model and is focused on the design, implementation, and management of Kubernetes clusters, specifically on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage Kubernetes clusters with a strong emphasis on GKE.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and CI/CD tools such as Terraform and Helm.
  • Write and manage extensive RAW YAML files and Kubernetes Manifest YAMLs.
  • Implement containerization technologies, particularly Docker, ensuring security best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Kubernetes cluster management.
  • Strong grasp of Kubernetes architecture and its core components.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python or Bash.
  • Solid understanding of Linux environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CKA/CKS certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with other cloud service providers such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Active contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects.
