Job Title: Janitorial Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Pinheiro's Janitorial Services. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Work Environment

Our Janitorial Assistants work in a variety of settings, including office buildings, commercial facilities, and private residences. You will be required to travel to different locations and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Provide basic information on facilities to clients and visitors
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to work in a variety of settings, including office buildings, commercial facilities, and private residences
  • Ability to travel to different locations
