Job Title: Heavy Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Truck Driver to join our team at Kenroc Building Materials Saskatoon.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a heavy truck to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a heavy truck to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required.
  • Meet all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift and handle heavy loads.
